Certificates
Income Certificate
Get official proof of family income for scholarships, schemes and admissions.
About this service
An income certificate is issued by the Circle Officer (Tahsildar) through the Revenue Department. It certifies the annual family income from all sources and is required for scholarships, fee concessions, economically-weaker-section benefits, and welfare schemes. In Assam it is issued through the Sewa Setu portal with Circle-level verification.
Who can apply
Permanent residents of Assam can apply. The applicant must declare income from salary, agriculture, business, rent and other sources. Students applying for scholarships need a bonafide certificate from their institution.
How to apply
Apply on the Sewa Setu portal with identity, address and income proofs plus an affidavit. The Gaon Pradhan or Ward Member verifies the claim, then the Circle Officer approves and the certificate is available for download.
